The oldest and largest of Rome's ancient arenas, the Circus Maximus hosted chariot races from at least the fourth century BC. It was rebuilt by Julius Caesar to hold as many as 300,000 people.

Huge stadium and must be a wonder in its time. It's hot when visited on midday. Best visit early in the morning or late afternoon.

Not too much to see. A big plain where the chariot races used to happen. There's some remains left on one side. A good thing to see the proportions! ???? Also there's a metro and tram stop to get here.

Biz bir koşu organizasyonuna denk geldik. Çok güzel organize olunmuş. Biz avm yapardık buraya. Yanında bir dondurmacı var mutlaka gidin.

ローマ帝国時代に使われてた大競技場。今でもイベント等で使われることもあるそうだ。といっても実際行くと広大な敷地に何もない野原みたいなのが広がってるだけで、雑草もはえてます。そんな感じなので近所の小・中学生が「地域体験/清掃活動」などと称して草むしりに駆り出さされてる姿が目に浮かぶ。
